The Drive: What challenges have you overcome?
Where do I start? Work/life balance, the financial and emotional challenges of setting up a business,
keeping the momentum going for my business and myself. The list goes on. I’m constantly learning and trying to better myself.
For better or worse: What are the pros and cons of running your own business?
I would say the pros and cons come in at the same level. On one hand I’m my own boss, so I get to choose which direction I want business going in. Making those decisions for myself is very rewarding. But on the other, I am literally the only person that is going to make my business succeed so, if I don’t have motivation or enthusiasm every day, I may just miss out on an opportunity that could take me where I want to go and that’s a scary fact.
Hopes and dreams: What next?
This is only the beginning for Teepee Partee. We have been making plans to expand the children’s parties and evolving into outdoor Teepee Partees for teens and adults.
