Childhood Unplugged: celebrating the art of play

“Play is often talked about as if it were a relief from serious learning. But for children play is serious learning. Play is really the work of childhood.” – Fred Rogers

I found the above quote when poking around on the Childhood Unplugged website, which I found after stumbling around on Instagram and discovering the hashtag #childhoodunplugged

Childhood Unplugged began with a group of photographers who wanted to make a real effort to encourage children to get back into the magical art of play. Away from technology – the ever-present devices and screens of today.
