Hugs for Kids: A World of Wonder for Little People

The roastedfox range is growing every season and focuses on tran-seasonal garments with unisex colours and patterns prevalent throughout. Practical but certainly not boring! They have just received their first ever shipment of kids’ super comfy undies that they will be calling their Foxy Jocks. Cut as a boyleg for the girls and trunk for the boys, they are using the offcuts from their production for waste reduction. They are a patchwork of random fabrics so a bit fun and a good sustainable decision for the kids.

Adam and Bek’s own children have a hand in the design, from helping choose fabrics to testing new styles – and this means that what they produce works for kids, not just parents.

“Every season we have re-made our signature rainbow tee, featuring rainbow sleeves and a white striped body, it is an all-time favourite that sells out every season. Customers return year after year for another rainbow tee that’s their kid’s favourite.”

Adam and Bek know that spending that little bit more on clothes is cheaper in the long run because they last longer (even across multiple children) and reduce the number of shopping trips with kids in tow.

“That being said, we do source the most beautiful and hard-wearing fabrics, so they don’t pill, stretch or shrink (unless they go in the dryer). We pay a premium for an ethical factory with amazing quality, so we know our finished garments are top quality!”
