New Year’s Resolutions: Look to Children for Inspiration

Everything changes when you have young eyes beside you. Suddenly you are transported back to your own childhood, but also with the firm grip on the now and what is being presented to us all every single day.

The greatest challenge is not to fight others for our just causes, but to actually go within and see what illusion we are carrying in our own minds; that accepted response to something or a belief that we feel to be true yet inside it niggles at us.

I now see that a lifetime of chasing the perfection of women was futile – I took on an illusion and believed it to be true. We all have, and in this year may we all do the necessary weeding of our minds, so that the seeds of 2019 are only the seeds that we truly wish to grow and manifest.

The greatest challenge is not to fight others for our just causes, but to actually go within and see what illusion we are carrying in our own minds…

My child’s total acceptance of all reminds me every single day of the state I originally had and came into this world with, the truth of being that we all have, and also it gives me the courage and conviction to continue my weeding. For society, others, family, friends, strangers – they are all us. If we truly want something to change, then we must do this deep work on ourselves.

The collective will follow, the tribe will come, the unity will happen – it is the universal law. So be brave dear parent, as you step into this year with your child as guide. Every single day they remind us of our truth, and the most remarkable thing of all is that we still have this divine state inside. No matter where we have been, no matter what has happened, that spark and fire of truth burns within.

Its time to plant the seeds of truth and weed out illusions. Many blessings and a peaceful New Year to you all.
