The Drive: What challenges have you overcome?
Growing awareness of our business has always been the biggest challenge. Social media is a fantastic tool that we have available, but without spending lots of money on marketing, it can be hard to grow a following with all the other small businesses trying to do the same. We are continually thinking up new ideas to get people to our website.
For better or worse: What are the pros and cons of running your own business?
I still get a massive rush of excitement every time we make a sale. I don’t think this feeling will ever really go away when you have worked hard and put everything into the products that you design and make. Then there is the flip side of this, the weeks where you don’t make sales and you wonder what you are doing wrong… small business is hard work!
Hopes and dreams: What next?
We have so many awesome product ideas that we can’t wait to put into production and start selling. 2019 has seen the start of our room décor range, and we will continue to launch new and exciting things. We are hoping to make a range of ECE resources too!
