What are mitochondria?

History of Purple Rice

Modern medical research studies confirm that the ancient Chinese knew a good thing when they found it. Nutritionally rich purple rice contain high amounts of anthocyanins and antioxidants which provide the rice its unique deep purple colour. In fact, purple rice contains more antioxidants, ounce for ounce, than blueberries, contains more fibre and vitamin E (another essential antioxidant) and less sugar than blueberries.
