Issue 42
As we head into autumn in the southern hemisphere, we get to appreciate nature at its finest, in all its colourful beauty. Autumn brings with it plenty of opportunities to get outside and explore with our children in the crunchy, fallen leaves, while the cooler temperatures should bring some relief to our pregnant mamas. Bedtimes may get a little easier with the nights drawing in, and what a cosy time to welcome a newborn into the family. Whatever stage of family life you are at, we hope you can enjoy all the beauty that autumn has to offer. Our latest edition is packed full of advice, inspiration and real-life stories. Bonnie Bayley shares the inspiring journeys of three women navigating motherhood with the added challenge of a mental health illness, and “the ways in which having a mental illness has actually made them kinder, more conscious parents”. Israel Butson explores the idea that a one-size-fits-all approach to education is not allowing our children to “explore their uniqueness”, yet “they’re asked to gather in a group and spend 13 years walking along the same path as everyone else”. For family photography tips, Josie Gritten gives some great advice and tips for taking the perfect photos of your children. We hope that this autumn season is filled with fun, love and happiness for you and your families. Love from the TNP Team xxx
