Are Mothers the Ultimate Elite Athletes?⠀

What if we took the time we will have to invest in our wellbeing when we eventually burn out and sprinkle it throughout our days and weeks so that we can thrive, not just survive?

Creating tiny rituals of filling up our tank can make a huge difference.

These don’t have to be big things. For example, sitting and having a cup of tea outside as soon as bubs goes down to sleep. Or, creating a positive night-time ritual to promote restful sleep. Or saying no to non-essential things when you feel exhausted.

As we say at @themotherhoodgathering, we must pay ourselves first as opposed to waiting until we feel in control, the house is tidy or there are other perfect conditions to allow us to finally sit and rest.

What are some small ways you can fill up your tank so you can continue to meet all the demands you have on you?⠀
