Empowering Couples to Reconnect & Find Intimacy Again

Amy knows very well the resistance to softening, and being in the yin aspect of ourselves, able to receive. In the modern world, we are expected to be in our yang, on top of so much – the dishes, the laundry, the career, the school emails, the kids’ sports and academics, not to mention doing our best to meet their emotional needs so that we don’t pass on wounding – breaking the vicious cycle of intergenerational trauma. With awareness comes responsibility.

She empowers couples to create the safety to explore each other’s desires and barriers, supporting them to find intimacy again, understanding that despite the challenges of the postpartum period and life as a parent, we deserve to enjoy a loving adult relationship, which benefits the kids too. The best sex education is seeing parents who are affectionate towards each other, respectful and appreciative of one another. With sleep deprivation, changing bodies, baby on boob, extreme emotions and low/flat moods, not to mention the physical pain of postpartum, and complications that women may be experiencing, she gives couples the tools to nurture your bond. With unwavering support, she’ll be the resilience coach to guide you through the forest.

She educates to expand knowledge of anatomy and teaches how new pleasure pathways can be created through neuroplasticity by trying new things. She empowers parents to reconnect, to strengthen their union, to ride through the chaos whilst nurturing themselves and their bond. With a blended family there are extra dynamics at play, and there can be resistance to strengthening the new unit. Especially for avoidants. She understands couples not feeling like prioritising intimacy, especially when getting a bit more sleep is their top priority, and that honouring our body’s own limits is so important – not rushing or allowing something we’re not ready for or comfortable with. Our body holds the key to embodied consent.
