The drive: What challenges have you overcome?

One of the biggest challenges we’ve faced is being a faceless beauty brand in an industry that’s so image driven. Beauty is often tied to specific looks and faces, which can create unrealistic expectations and feelings of inadequacy. From the start, we wanted Husn Beauty to be different-to focus on inclusivity and the idea that beauty isn’t one-size-fits-all. But going against the grain wasn’t easy. We had to work hard to communicate that our products are for everyone, regardless of their skin type, tone, or background.

Staying true to this vision meant rejecting the traditional approach of showcasing our products on models. Instead, we focus on how our products make people feel-confident, healthy, and authentically themselves. This approach required us to educate our audience about our values and the benefits of our faceless branding. We’ve overcome this challenge by building a community that values inclusivity, where customers feel empowered to embrace their unique beauty without comparing themselves to others.

It hasn’t been a simple path, but the positive feedback and the diversity of our customer base have shown us that this was the right choice. Inclusivity is at the core of everything we do, and overcoming this challenge has only strengthened our commitment to redefining beauty for everyone.

For better or worse: What are the pros and cons of running your own business?

Running my own business has been both incredibly rewarding and challenging. On the one hand, I love the freedom to create products I believe in and that align with my values, and it’s incredibly rewarding to see how they help people. But it’s also a lot of hard work, and there are moments when it can feel overwhelming. Starting a business requires a significant investment of time and resources, and there have been moments of doubt and exhaustion. There’s no off switch, and that can be tough, especially when you’re juggling family life too. But honestly, the rewards far outweigh the challenges, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

Hopes and dreams: What next?

I’m really excited about the future of Husn Beauty. We have some amazing new products in the pipeline, and I can’t wait to share them. My goal is to continue expanding our reach and to keep making clean, natural beauty accessible to more people. Ultimately, I hope Husn Beauty becomes a name people trust for high-quality, healthy cosmetics. My dream is to help more families embrace a healthier, more natural lifestyle through beauty products that truly care for their skin and wellbeing. What started as a small effort to help my family has grown into something that can help so many others, and that’s incredibly exciting. The beauty industry is changing, and I’m thrilled to be part of that transformation.
