Helping Your Child Fall Asleep, Stay Asleep & Wake Up Happy

The drive: What challenges have you overcome?

Two big challenges stand out: battling self-doubt and hustling to get clients in the door. Starting out solo can be daunting, and there were moments when I questioned everything. But I’ve learned to trust my gut and push through the doubts. And as for clients, it was tough in the beginning, but word-of-mouth referrals have been a game-changer. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing a steady stream of happy clients coming my way.

For better or worse: What are the pros and cons of running your own business?

On the downside, the income can be unpredictable, and sometimes, it feels like I’m flying solo without a safety net. But the upside is huge-the flexibility to be there for my family when they need me most, and the sheer joy of doing work that truly makes a difference in people’s lives. What truly fuels my passion for this business is hearing from clients at the end of our journey together. Many express profound gratitude, often saying that I’ve changed their lives. Knowing that I’ve made such a positive impact is the best feeling in the world and what motivates me every day.

Hopes and dreams: What next?

I’m all about growth-both for YesWeSleep and for the families we serve. My goal is to reach even more families, offering affordable solutions like sleep guides and online courses. And I want to expand our workshop offerings to make sure everyone, regardless of budget, can access the help they need to tackle sleep challenges head-on.
