The drive: What challenges have you overcome?
There always seems to be one challenge or another when you’re running a business. Trying to keep up stock whilst juggling family needs has been a big one. This has been especially exacerbated when my suppliers have struggled to keep up stock on ingredients for the products that my stockists and my customers wanted most.
For better or worse: What are the pros and cons of running your own business?
My original motivation for the business was to have something that was for me to enjoy for myself whilst I was taking care of my family. However, what I didn’t expect was how much more it would add to my plate.
In some ways, running a business is like having another child. It brings its own joys and difficulties. There are many aspects of running my business that I love and some are tedious. But when my customers come back time and time again to buy their favourite products, or they leave a gorgeous review, it makes it all worth it.
Hopes and dreams: What next?
More products are in the works: more tea blends and some things that will be brand new for us, which I’m so excited about.
