The drive: What challenges have you overcome?
This is non-familiar territory for me. I have been flying for 23 years, so owning a business and its challenges has been a steep learning curve. I do give discounts, however I have had to believe in my product to not want to give away too many books, as this does not make a profitable business. The technical side has also been a learning curve – however, I am proud to say that I learn along the way.
For better or worse: What are the pros and cons of running your own business?
The pros of owning a small business and that I truly am passionate about sending a message of positivity to our children and I am blessed to talk about this every day! A con is weighing up how much time I can afford to spend on the business, which takes away time from my family and friends.
Hopes and dreams: What next?
I hope to spread the message of empowerment and positivity to children and to the next generation. I want to think about a series of books for different aged children, and perhaps adults.
