The drive: What challenges have you overcome?
I’ve learnt a couple of things the hard way. Sometimes being a little too eager and not taking into account a few very obvious things. You live and learn and I’m sure there will be more hurdles to overcome as everything unfolds.
For better or worse: What are the pros and cons of running your own business?
In terms of pros, so far, having your own business and having full creative licence has been incredibly exciting. In the same vain it’s been a bit of a con. Being the sole business owner, making all of the decisions and not having anyone else to bounce ideas from has been challenging at times.
Hopes and dreams: What next?
Of course the launch, which is expected early 2023. Dreaming big – it is my long-term goal to have a flagship store as well as running my online business where you can shop to your heart’s content.
I would love nothing more than to have a one-stop shop for mamas to walk into and breathe a sigh of relief knowing everything they are looking for can be found in one place.
I believe shopping is a sensory experience, so to browse, touch and feel our quality products and relax in a store specifically for mamas in their most crucial time of need would be a pretty special experience.
