Natural Parenting, Naturally!

As a natural parent, you rely on your intuition and knowledge of your child’s personality…

I find it refreshing as a parent to hear others give positive feedback on parenting, which is a change from the norm – with everyone having an opinion on the way you should raise, discipline, school and socialize your children. As a natural parent, you rely on your intuition and knowledge of your child’s personality, which is VERY difficult for those that “know it all” to accept. In fact, you end up finding that they just downright disapprove of the way you are raising “that child”.

In this family, we believe deeply that if our child needs a hug, we will never say no. If the child needs to snuggle at night, we will let them. The older they have become, they have ended up finding their own personalities and have grown to be independent already, despite the fact that the eldest is only seven years old. Each of our children come to us when they are in need of support, affection, or just a chat, and they are open, able to communicate knowledge that they learn and know that we will always listen. This is natural parenting.

Natural parenting may not be something that you agree with to start with, but if given a chance, you will find that implementing just a small amount into your home will make a world of difference to the health and wellbeing of your family.
