The Drive: What challenges have you overcome?
Like many parents, my journey has included both joy and heartbreak.
One of the most difficult challenges has been navigating estrangement within my own family. Experiences like this force you to look deeply at yourself, your values and the kind of legacy you want to leave.
Those experiences have shaped my work profoundly.
They have taught me the importance of honesty, compassion and staying open even when relationships are complex.
For Better or Worse: What are the pros and cons of running your own business?
The greatest advantage is the freedom to create work that truly reflects my values.
I can focus on supporting parents in a way that feels authentic and meaningful rather than following a formula.
The challenge is that running a small business requires wearing many hats – from creating content and hosting conversations to managing the practical side of running a platform.
But the opportunity to connect with parents and see the positive shifts in families makes it worthwhile.
Hopes and Dreams: What next?
My hope is to continue growing Parent Connect as a calm, thoughtful space where parents can explore the emotional side of parenting together.
I would love to see more parents feel confident in themselves and less alone in the challenges they face.
Ultimately, my dream is simple: to support families in creating relationships that are grounded in clarity, respect and genuine connection.
