We spoke to founder Tania Peterson to learn more about how she got started.
The passion: What inspired you to set up your business?
This business opportunity came to me at the beginning of 2018. I tore both of my Achilles tendons and had a very long recovery process to go preventing me from returning to work. Being a single mum of three, I needed the extra income so had nothing to lose! I could see the potential and these products are all amazing. I couldn’t wait to share them with everybody else.
The Launch: How did you start out in the beginning?
I started a Facebook group called Beauty in the South with support from my amazing mentors and other women in the business, they were beside me the whole way. It was here that I started to be able to begin building my brand while connecting with customers. From there I decided to try and build a website (with no computer knowledge), while attending small business seminars. I had absolutely no idea what I was doing but was determined to not give up no matter how hard it was.
The innovation: What was the biggest breakthrough for you with your business?
I feel extremely lucky to have come across this business opportunity. My biggest breakthrough to date would be completing the website, it was literally over 300 hours of dedicated concentration. Always getting happy customers with satisfied results is an amazing feeling. I love being able to help people feel good about themselves; I feel as a small business that is always going to be the most important part.
