Watch, Wait, Wonder and Reconnect: How to Slow Down

WAIT
As a Type-A, teacher mom, this is where I had to practice! I now wait, and I wait with pure glory as I see the wheels turn and problem-solving emerge. It’s truly incredible.

WONDER
The moment I started wondering is the moment she started to question and wonder herself! I love when she starts a sentence with “I wonder…” I honestly have no idea what she will come out with next and I love it.

This is what makes learning real and meaningful and straight up magical.

RECONNECT
THIS is key! This is what makes learning real and meaningful and straight up magical. Talking about the day or a moment or at the end of an activity is what solidifies the learning and gives you, the parent, the first educator, the truest idea about what they absorbed from their learning.

I dare you all to slow down.

Watch, wait, wonder and reconnect…

You won’t be disappointed.
