The drive: What challenges have you overcome?
Challenges always exist, and I’ve learnt I will always do astrology even if it is only on a more casual basis. It is something I love and feel called to do, so will allow the journey to continue taking me where it needs to. Where I have been taken away from doing astrology on a more full-time basis has only been to deepen my worldly experience, which can then help people even more.
For better or worse: What are the pros and cons of running your own business?
The advantages of running my own business are great, especially since I can work on my own schedule, which is essential for me with a toddler at home. I can also experiment with new ideas and have a creative outlet through my writing. However, one of the challenges of working part-time is trying to fit everything in. There is always more admin that meets the eye with my offerings. Despite this, I manage to make it work because it is my passion.
Hopes and dreams: What next?
I was recently invited to a podcast and enjoyed the experience. I’ve been imagining doing my own podcast in the future, but I’m not sure what that would look like. Creating a podcast could be my next dream! I’ve recently launched a dream I have had for a while. It is an online offering that is like a mini reading/horoscope style. This helps people use the astrology wisdom of how to time and plan their lives. So, I will watch this space to see how that lands.
