The drive: What challenges have you overcome?
A lot of imposter syndrome. Being new to the industry and also a new environment as a business owner, I’ve learned to lean into the unknown, and reach out to experts that have been in the business for quite some time.
For better or worse: What are the pros and cons of running your own business?
As a solopreneur – the pros – the flexibility. Cons – There’s no back-up (you’re it). So it’s really important to take care of myself first, so that my energy can flow into the business.
Hopes and dreams: What next?
I would love to connect with more businesses who would like some photos or web design support. I am looking to open an ecommerce store for prints and art for brick and mortar stores, building my portfolio in hospitality photography (so foodies), and happy to help with any specific photography needs for your business. I have been fortunate to explore different B2C needs over the past couple of months and would love to expand and explore how I can help other businesses as well.
