With over two decades of entrepreneurial experience spanning events, French antiques, and a London-based slow food initiative, Harriet Goudard‘s journey into coaching and healing was a natural evolution. Drawing from lived experience, intuitive insight, and a natural ability to support others, her current work is a personal and integrated expression of her path to date. Today, she weaves together coaching, energy medicine and therapeutic practices to help clients navigate transformation with clarity and depth – always grounded in the understanding that life, work, health and relationships are profoundly interconnected. Here she talks to The Natural Parent Magazine about the inspiration behind what she does, her biggest breakthrough, the challenges she has overcome, and her hopes and dreams for the future.
The passion: What inspired you to set up your business?
Having been an entrepreneur for over two decades, I’ve worked across diverse industries – from events to French antiques online, to setting up a slow food initiative in London, and finally evolving my activity into being a coach and therapist. I brought all of my experience and learnings from those previous lives forward with me.
So, in short, this business has been a natural evolution of previous businesses – as well as being more personal, leading with my name and bringing more of my lived life experiences to the fore.

The launch: How did you start out in the beginning?
Throughout my life, I’ve been asked for help, advice and healing by friends, family and family friends. So, it was a natural step into coaching, which actually started out as Reiki Healing, Energy Medicine and Shamanic Practices. I first found huge benefit in these tools for myself and my family, before getting fully trained in them to offer them to clients.
The innovation: What was the biggest breakthrough for you with your business?
My biggest breakthrough was realising that everything is connected! That the better I can be at home, in my marriage and in my health, the better things are at work – and vice versa. The fascinating thing with becoming versatile in many different things is that you start to become aware of the underlying patterns – systems – at play underneath the surface, both externally and internally.
Marry that with a high energetic sensitivity (I’ve been a clairvoyant since birth) and it is possible to see very quickly how the various different aspects of life are interdependent on each other – and therefore discover how to move beyond challenges within any aspect, by addressing what life is naturally presenting to be integrated.

Yin and Yang: How do you balance work and family?
Home educated for the most part for the past six years, our children have moved and flexed with us – and our work has done the same around them. Now, with them happily at the South Devon Steiner School, we have more time to work – and I am conscious of making sure it balances out with family life.
Harmony in one area equals harmony in another.
