Yin and Yang: How do you balance work and family?
Can anyone really have real balance? Haha. What works for me is organisation! I do a lot of my work after hours or when the girls are at daycare. I schedule everything online months before it happens as my marketing and socials calendars are planned out 3 months ahead. Having 2 children under two and starting up a business in the middle of Covid lockdown is full on, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
To be able to help people with these products is my main goal.
The drive: What challenges have you overcome?
My biggest challenge I found was myself. It takes a long time to make a product that actually works and then once it’s ready, believing that you’re not the only person that needs this!
For better or worse: What are the pros and cons of running your own business?
Well it doesn’t happen overnight. As much as you want your business to open and for everyone to find you straight away, that’s obviously not the case, but a pro is that it’s here now and people are finding it, people are loving it and people are seeing amazing results. So in my eyes, that is a massive PRO.
Hopes and dreams: What next?
Upward and onwards! We have big plans for Organik Bodi and soon we will be moving into body and skin care with our great formulations that help to protect and sooth your skin. We can’t wait to show everyone what’s coming throughout 2022!
