The drive: What challenges have you overcome?
The biggest challenge I have overcome is assisting children with complex issues and developmental delays to sleep better.
For better or worse: What are the pros and cons of running your own business?
The pros are working from home and choosing when I want to work – and I can schedule time off around my own children. I also get to build a network around me of other beautiful mamas and connect with other small business women – we are so powerful together.
In terms of cons, not getting paid for holidays or sick days, and removing the guilt of not working and enjoying holidays with my family. I also have to actively find clients each week/fortnight, and deal with social media and all the changes that come with that.
Hopes and dreams: What next?
I would love to source my own cot sheets, swaddles and sleeping bags.
