Placenta Encapsulation Services: Providing Support & awareness to Birthing Families

The drive: What challenges have you overcome?

I have overcome my own self-doubt, which is one of the reasons that delayed me starting my own business sooner. Confidence and self-belief are huge. ‘I can do this’ and ‘just do it’ are some of my mantras. It’s so important to believe in yourself and your abilities as most of the time you are the one holding yourself back!

For better or worse: What are the pros and cons of running your own business?

As a sole trader, small business all responsibilities stop with me. I fulfil every aspect of my business. I am also on call 365 days a year, 24 hours a day. I do have down time though, and not being tied to the 9-5 is great. My clients’ feedback and comments are what drive me, as well as my love for supporting new mums, birthing parents and families. When a client messages me just days after birthing their baby to thank me for my help and service, telling me how amazing they feel, it makes the early hour collections all worthwhile. I also want to be an inspirational role model to my children, lead by example, and fill them with a good work ethic and self-belief.

Hopes and dreams: What next?

I just want to spread the placenta love, bring awareness to all pregnant women and birthing parents so they have a choice, whether they choose to benefit from their placenta, as the placenta can offer them and their baby so many benefits in their 4th trimester – as still, so many people don’t know about encapsulation.
