Responsive, Sensitive Sleep Support for Families

The drive: What challenges have you overcome?

My biggest challenge would be having imposter syndrome and the anxiety of “What if I can’t help them!?”, but I know that’s just my anxiety talking. I haven’t met a family I can’t help.

For better or worse: What are the pros and cons of running your own business?

I love the flexibility of working from home, setting my own schedule and deciding how many families I work with at a time. However, working from home with a toddler is very challenging and limiting. A quiet toddler is never a good sign.

It is very difficult to set boundaries and switch off when at home. There’s always something to work on, and there are a lot of late nights.

Hopes and dreams: What next?

I’m currently working on building a Baby Hub Network for local Melbourne Mums to support mums through pregnancy and postpartum with the services such as photographers, pelvic health physiotherapist, massage therapists, doulas, lactation consultants, obstetricians and my favourite baby and children’s brands: a one-stop-shop for everything a new mum could need.

I’d also love for Sound Sleep to grow to a capacity in which we have multiple consultants on offer for families to work with.

Visit the Sound Sleep website to find out more, and join their supportive communities on Facebook and Instagram.
