The drive: What challenges have you overcome?
Where do I even began… Like most business owners, nothing is straightforward and especially tech. We have gone through many ups and downs in our first years, and as a start-up and being self-funded, it has been very stressful at times; however, we have pushed through and now have an app I am really proud of, along with amazing members and sponsors.
For better or worse: What are the pros and cons of running your own business?
ONLY PROS HERE. Yes, it’s hard, but it gives you flexibility, freedom and unlimited potential.
Hopes and dreams: What next?
I want to take the Social Mama App to New Zealand and then America, and we won’t stop there, but we still have more Aussie mums that need our help, so we will start there. I want every mum to have an online village, access to help when needed, access to friends, access to on-call doctors, midwifes, mental health support, baby first aid and more.
