The Idea
At around the same time, Bianca’s social network of new mums started turning to her for guidance and feedback for themselves and their little ones – she realised that the challenges she had faced were faced by many.
This was the light bulb moment that spurred the need to provide Australian families with great quality mum and baby products that were easily accessible to any family (no matter their budget) and delivered to families quickly – especially when pregnant and new mums need help the most.
The Beginning
Launched in April 2021, Mumma Bear has been dedicated to supporting families throughout their pregnancies, breastfeeding journeys and little ones from birth to toddlerhood. As Bianca’s family and family needs grew, Mumma Bear’s range grew with them.
This thoughtfully curated brand provides pregnancy and breastfeeding support, reusable, baby/toddler essentials and natural, self-care products – their mission: to help support families journey throughout those precious first few years with their little ones.
Starting the business in 2021 with the essential must-haves for any family wanting to use sustainable (and cost-effective) nappies, breast pads, wet bags and organic swaddles – Mumma Bear has since helped hug and support thousands of pregnant mummas’ baby bumps with their ARTG listed pregnancy and postpartum belly band, designed a bomb-proof cloth nappy (and beginner friendly for those starting cloth for the first time), been there to help collect liquid gold, and build those stashes through their exclusive range of pumps and milk collection shells.
More recently, Mumma Bear has lovingly designed not one, but two stunning lightweight nappy backpacks created with whatever a day out can throw at you in mind.
Bianca loves what she does by offering support and guidance to her customers. With two little ones under three and juggling a full-time job – she still finds the time to dedicate herself to being as accessible as possible should any family have any questions or need extra help and support.
