We have all seen our toddlers clutching with a death-grip onto their favourite toy/bike/book rather than share it with another – and to some degree we actually all do this. We have our preferred things – our treasures – that we carry with us on our life journey. This cool little video from TED-ed explores the psychology of attachment to things and may give you a greater understanding of what’s happening in your little one’s brain as they develop.
