Yin and Yang: How do you balance work and family?
I’m pretty sure like most parents I’m just winging it. We do what we have to do with what we have and as long as you can be happy, you are doing a great job. Also it helps that the man of the house likes the smell of the soaps and won’t use store bought soaps anymore. That tells me something is there..
The drive: What challenges have you overcome?
For me, it was taking that leap of faith to put it out into the market and running with it. There is still a long way to go, but being creative and doing something you love that lets you spend time with your family makes it all worth it. Slow and steady it is for me.
For better or worse: What are the pros and cons of running your own business?
Right now my only con would be budgeting, so that I can get the supplies I need to make my product, but we manage, and you never know where it will go. The pros are being creative, spending time with my children, the beautiful scents wafting through the house and watching my friends and family enjoying my products.
Hopes and dreams: What’s next?
My hopes and dreams are that I would love to see my products as everyday items in households nationwide – and one day worldwide. That would be amazing.
