The drive: What challenges have you overcome?
10 years ago, I was dealt a very rare neuromuscular disease as well as a rare cancer. I had to find a new normal. This meant not being able to have a typical 9-5 job. I decided to perfect a few of my hobbies and macrame was the winner.
This year, I also entered the extremely tough market of gift boxes. Where mine stand out from the rest is that I always try to include macrame into my boxes.
For better or worse: What are the pros and cons of running your own business?
One of the downfalls is that of course you will have good months and bad months.
The best thing about my business is that I can absolutely go at my own pace. I can pace myself around my health, which is a blessing.
Hopes and dreams: What next?
I have very simple goals, one of which is to make at least one sale per day through my fancy website.
