The drive: What challenges have you overcome?
We’re in the process of trying to challenge some typical perspectives towards skin and haircare – And while it’s ongoing, we’re slowly helping others to access healthier skin and haircare that is sustainable and eco friendly as a standard, not as an exception. As well as this, our company is run by 2 disabled women; that in itself is a challenge that we certainly overcome regularly.
For better or worse: What are the pros and cons of running your own business?
In terms of pros, my team and I get to meet many amazing people from all over the world during our shows. It’s great to help others solve an issue with our products or even boost their confidence.
In general, running a business is really fun. Since I like to be busy, I love that there is always something to work on
The cons are that you are always looking for opportunities to grow your business (even at 3am in the morning!). Then there’s the juggling between different social platforms, and don’t even get me started on keeping up with the algorithm changes
Hopes and dreams: What next?
We’re keen to expand our haircare range as we realise we have a lot to offer in that department. We’re working hard to spread the message that natural skin and hair care really is the way forward, for our health and for the earth’s health.
