The drive: What challenges have you overcome?
We have overcome learning how to build a business up from the start! There is a lot that goes into it that no one tells you about, but so far, luckily, things have been pretty smooth sailing for us!
For better or worse: What are the pros and cons of running your own business?
The pros are definitely being able to be flexible in working hours, being able to produce a product that has your own stamp and flair on it, which is very rewarding, and watching it grow from nothing into something pretty cool is very exciting!
The biggest con is that the work never stops – the behind-the-scenes stuff such as emails, social media, etc. are ongoing.
Hopes and dreams: What next?
We have big plans! We are in the process of getting mock DNA keepsakes into funeral homes, midwife clinics, vet clinics, etc. There are a lot of people out there that may not have social media, so we want our products and services available to everyone. Us humans are very sentimental and it is so special to be able to have something to hold and treasure.
