With a deep belief in the body’s innate ability to heal itself when nurtured in the right way, passionate owner Trish Bowdich infuses her creations with love and intention. Each blend is meticulously made by hand in small batches, ensuring the utmost care and attention to detail. Here she talks to The Natural Parent Magazine about her business journey so far.
The passion: What inspired you to set up your business?
I was inspired to take over the business when the opportunity arose as I had been a loyal customer since the brand started in 2020. I love herbal tea, and hot chocolate is my favourite favourite favourite drink of all time! I love herbs and natural remedies, I love being creative and I love people! DAVÃ by Nature incorporates all of my favourite things so the business and I felt like a perfect match
Yin and Yang: How do you balance work and family?
I’m still learning to master the art of this balance! I have set times and days that I dedicate to the business, which does help me to create a balance. I also have my kids help me with little tasks, which they love, so I’m able to combine business with family. I think this is one of the beautiful things about running your own business.
The drive: What challenges have you overcome?
Learning to use Instagram was a challenge for me. Prior to DAVÃ by Nature, I hadn’t used Instagram, so it was a very quick learning curve and there is constant learning. Marketing is also not a strong point of mine, so that is an ongoing challenge that I overcome over and over.
