The drive: What challenges have you overcome?
On our end, we’ve tackled the intricate path of entrepreneurship, which, despite being one of our largest challenges, has also been a thrilling experience. Moreover, we’ve managed to strike a delicate balance between our familial obligations and the pressing demands of our business, a considerable achievement that’s not to be underestimated.
For better or worse: What are the pros and cons of running your own business?
The best part of the job is firstly waking up each day to engage in something I’m truly passionate about, knowing it will positively touch another person’s life. Also, the beautiful emails we receive from our customers sharing how much their children or grandchildren adore our books. It can be easy to get caught up in the day-to-day running of the business, so when I have a bad day and things get tough, I always make sure to look back at our customers’ reviews.
Hopes and dreams: What next?
We are launching two new titles in a few months, which is very exciting: Dinosaurs and Safari Animals, which have more interactive parts than our previous series. We are currently working on a series of audio books to introduce children to storytelling. We’d love to expend internationally sometime soon.
