The Drive: What challenges have you overcome?
Confidence and self belief. I will always be working on these two things. I love what I do, the people I meet and the precious moments we create together. However, most of the time I feel it is all a bit of good luck and I always get a lovely surprise when my families react so positively to my work.
I never stop educating myself – researching, training and reviewing. I love to read and over-prepare for everything I do, so it keeps my approach fresh and continually improves my skills.
For better or worse: What are the pros and cons of running your own business?
Creating my own aesthetic, staying true to my style and approach to each family I work with. I love that independence and freedom, as it is my own style and branding.
I often wish I had two of me – I could always be better at the work/life balance. The thing is, my family is my heart and my work is my passion, so they need to exist together in all their fabulous chaos!

Hopes and dreams: What next?
2018 is going to see the business increase in activity and bookings – both with my community projects and a number of projects already lined up, which I can’t wait to get started.
I will continue to celebrate the wonderful humans I get to meet in my sessions – fresh ones and not-so-fresh ones but they are all downright wonderful, really.
