Healthy Lactation and Protein Support for Mums

Another one is having mothers share their stories – and even updating us – on their life events, from pregnancy to birth, to postpartum, and creating those friendships and relationships with our customers. It makes my day, every day. Having so much love and aroha for this passion project as well gives me my “WHY” we do this.

It was amazing when we first received messages from midwives, naturopaths and nutritionists wanting to share the products with their mothers, and working with the industry to further support mothers around the country for their lactation and protein needs.

Yin and Yang: How do you balance work and family?

I am still holding a day job at the moment so it can be a struggle. We try our best to keep the two separate, and when the kids are with us, we give them 100% of ourselves and block out times where it is just family life, going out, spending time together. Work life comes before the kids are awake, or after hours when the kids are asleep. It is a lot of juggling but I am hoping that one day, this can become my full-time gig and I’ll have more time with my kids.

The drive: What challenges have you overcome?

Business challenges are plenty, from replenishing stock, to packaging, and avoiding any order delays!

For better or worse: What are the pros and cons of running your own business?

Business never stops, which can be hard, but it is a business grown from love and seeing how our products help other mums is amazing.

Hopes and dreams: What next?

I’m not sure what is next for us, but hopefully we keep growing steadily to help more mums!
