One of the biggest challenges I’ve faced has been managing the complexities of frequent travel to India while ensuring every aspect of MYŚAA‘s production maintains the highest standards. From overseeing production and quality checks to rigorous testing and managing product timelines, the process has required immense dedication and precision.
Balancing these responsibilities with building the brand has been demanding, but my commitment to delivering the finest, ethically crafted skincare drives me forward. Every trip, every late night, and every detail is worth it when I see MYŚAA‘s vision come to life-offering luxurious, natural, transparent skincare that people can trust.
For better or worse: What are the pros and cons of running your own business?
Running MYŚAA has been a journey of passion, purpose, and plenty of sleepless nights. After 15 years in Human Resources, leaving a steady job and the comfort of a predictable life was terrifying-and liberating. I still remember sitting with a cup of chai one evening, wrestling with the idea of stepping into the unknown. I asked myself, “What if it fails?” But the louder voice in my heart whispered, “What if it works?” That was the moment I knew I had to leap and, of course, the immense support of my husband.
There’s nothing like seeing your vision come to life-watching something you nurtured from an idea into a tangible product that people trust and love. MYŚAA is my heart poured into every bottle, and knowing that it’s helping people feel good in their skin makes the late nights and hard days worth it.
But let’s be real-there’s no manual for this, no guidebook for “How to Build Your Dream Business Without Losing Your Mind.” Every decision, every challenge, every late-night moment of doubt falls squarely on my shoulders. I’ve had to learn everything from sourcing rare ingredients to navigating clinical testing and juggling endless logistics-all while being a mom and a human who also needs sleep and the occasional deep breath.
The hardest part? Letting go of the fear that I might not have all the answers. The best part? Realising I don’t need to. This journey isn’t about perfection-it’s about heart. It’s about staying true to MYŚAA‘s mission, even when things feel overwhelming.
Some days it feels like I’m climbing a mountain with no summit in sight, but other days-when I hear from someone who says MYŚAA made their skin glow or gave them confidence-it feels like I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be. It’s messy, magical, exhausting, and exhilarating all at once.
It’s taught me resilience, creativity, and the power of trusting my own voice. It’s not easy, but it’s real, and it’s mine-and for that, I’m endlessly grateful.
Hopes and dreams: What next?
At the core of it all, my hope is to continue creating skincare that not only transforms skin but touches lives-products that remind people to slow down, connect with themselves, and find a moment of peace in their busy days.

From ingredients rarely seen in skincare to innovative formulations, I’m excited to push the boundaries of what natural beauty can offer.
Another dream is to deepen our connection with the communities that make MYŚAA possible. I want to continue supporting the farmers and artisans who bring our ingredients to life, ensuring they feel valued, empowered, and part of this journey. Sustainability and fair practices will always remain at the heart of what we do, and I hope to inspire more conversations around conscious beauty.
On a personal level, I hope to build MYŚAA into a brand that not only creates amazing products but also fosters a community of people who care about what they put on their skin and how it’s made. I want MYŚAA to be a space where people feel seen, heard, and valued-a place where beauty and kindness go hand in hand.
