“Our homes are where we wind down, pick ourselves back up and just be ourselves. I wanted to create pieces that help you do that: make you smile, calm you down or remind you of something happy”.
It’s not about following trends or chasing perfection; it’s about making home feel more like you. That might be a soft pink daisy candle for your bedside, a creamy mushroom lamp for slow Sunday mornings or a sweet orange tulip candle that smells like a tropical night.
“Manara actually means ‘beacon of light'”, Sarah shares. “And I always hoped that’s what my products would feel like: tiny, beautiful things that light up your day”.
A Business Built on Connection
What sets Manara Home apart is its sense of intimacy. It doesn’t feel like shopping from a brand; it feels like buying from a friend. Every order is wrapped with care. Every product is developed with real people in mind. The brand’s Instagram feed is filled with raw behind-the-scenes content, scent descriptions straight from Sarah’s imagination and joyful colour palettes that are a world away from minimalist monotony.
“I think people are craving more colour, more fun, more realness“, she says. “I want people to know there’s a real human behind this business, not a warehouse or a marketing team. Just me, trying to bring a little more joy into people’s homes”.
Looking Ahead: Big Dreams in Small Batches
So what’s next for Manara Home?
Sarah is planning new seasonal collections, collaborations with other creatives and perhaps, one day, a flagship bricks-and-mortar studio store where customers can experience the magic in person. But for now, she’s staying focused on doing what she loves: creating beautiful things in small batches, with her own two hands.
“I don’t want to be a giant brand”, she says. “I want to stay personal, human and joyful. That’s what makes Manara Home special and I think that’s what people connect with”.
