Nutrition and the Crucial First 1000 Days

The drive: What challenges have you overcome?

You know I don’t really see I’ve had to ‘overcome’ anything… when I look back over my career, I see the times I’ve had to be brave or ‘step outside my comfort zone’ as the biggest shifts and growth. So yeah, I don’t see ‘challenges to overcome’ – if I feel challenged, I know it’s an opportunity for growth. I just follow my intuition, keep an open heart and mind, stay brave and ‘level up’!

For better or worse: What are the pros and cons of running your own business?

The pros are definitely having Mondays off most weeks (!!) and also just the general flexibility to set my own hours. But the biggest pro is doing work I LOVE.

The cons are the financial responsibility being all on me and also having to do everything myself… Although in saying that, I’ve got MUCH better at delegating and ‘outsourcing’ in the last couple of years. I have a fabulous VA that helps with all the tech and admin ‘stuff’ I struggle with and I’ve done a lot of work on having a ‘healthy relationship with money’ so that I don’t stress about that anymore. Both of those things give me more head and heart space to create the things I love – and with that comes more money and financial security – it’s a win-win!

Hopes and dreams: What next?

Just that – to keep creating the things I love that can help other people. I love being of service – this career lets me help change people’s lives for the better, and that is the most rewarding thing there is!
