Yin and Yang: How do you balance work and family?
Its always a juggle but the girls come first and weekends are very precious family time. Having a supportive hubby and family around has been crucial for our success.
The drive: What challenges have you overcome?
As a retail product, getting it in front of stockists and having many parts to the range has its challenges. There are always new demands every day as we are doing something new in the personal care and waxing space.
For better or worse: What are the pros and cons of running your own business?
I’ve had businesses since I was 21 so it’s something I thoroughly enjoy and love the stimulus it creates. The long hours and waiting for a break though can be a test of patience, but like having a baby, there are those fantastic times and then not so great days when you have to pick yourself up off the floor and carry on. I love to help people and when we get in a review from a lady saying “Catelle has changed my life; I no longer need to shave before I go to work”, it’s what makes me do this!
Hopes and dreams: What next?
The dream is to be worldwide. We’ve patented the system as it’s a game changer in the world of waxing – so here we go!
