The drive: What challenges have you overcome?
One of the main challenges has been becoming a mother twice while running the business – having to breastfeed or pump during a long day of shooting can be very difficult. Luckily, my breastfeeding days are over and I get my limited freedom back now!
For better or worse: What are the pros and cons of running your own business?
The pros are that the work is relatively flexible and you can choose your clients. As for cons, the freedom comes with a price, you have to manage so many facets, and it’s 24/7, with overtime often, late nights and weekend work.
Hopes and dreams: What next?
I want to continue to provide awesome photography and experiences and become a well known brand! I’m also growing our wedding brand: Phoenix Weddings – Celebrate a New Beginning.
