The Drive: What challenges have you overcome?
Oh, so many. But the biggest one? Myself.
Self-doubt. Perfectionism. Imposter syndrome. The fear of being seen. The belief that I had to do everything perfectly to be worthy of success. Sound familiar? I sat with all of it.
A back injury that forced me to stop for an entire year was a real turning point. At the time, it felt devastating – but it ended up being a gift. It led me to discover mindfulness, embodiment, and self-compassion. I began to listen to my body, not override it. To soften, instead of pushing. To trust, instead of hustle. These tools became not just personal lifelines, but the foundation of my coaching work.
And along the way, I discovered something beautiful: the incredible support of other women and mothers. I started sharing my story, hesitantly at first. But every time I did, I was met with kindness, solidarity, and encouragement. That connection changed everything. It reminded me of what we can create when we come together.

For Better or Worse: What are the pros and cons of running your own business?
Running a business as a mother requires you to wear many hats – and some of them don’t fit naturally. I’ve had to learn about marketing, tech, admin, finance… all while chasing after a toddler and staying present in my relationships. It’s a lot.
But there’s something incredibly empowering about building something that’s yours. You get to align your work with your values. You get to design a rhythm that supports your wellbeing and your family.
And you get to model for your children what it looks like to pursue your dreams with courage and compassion.
I’ve also learned to ask for help. We’re taught that independence is strength, but the real power is in connection. Whether it’s outsourcing admin tasks or simply having a network of women to cheer you on – it makes a difference. And it’s okay to not do it all.

Hopes and Dreams: What’s next?
I believe self-care is not a luxury – it’s a vital act of leadership and wellbeing. And for mothers, it’s the foundation for everything else. You can’t pour from an empty cup, and you don’t have to. When you are in service to others, you have to support our own energy too and protect self-care time.
Alongside 1:1 coaching opportunities on May 22nd, I’m launching my 8-week group coaching program Beyond Balance – a transformational experience for mothers at any stage of motherhood. We’ll explore what really matters now – and help design a life that supports it. We’ll break through limiting beliefs, unlock your voice, and build emotional resilience. Most of all, as one of my teachers Dr. Claire Zammit says so beautifully: “Let’s give ourselves permission to be both brilliant and imperfect”.
You don’t have to choose between motherhood and ambition. You don’t have to fit into anyone’s box. You get to define and sustainably create a meaningful life on your own terms.
And you don’t have to figure it all out on your own – where’s the joy in that? Motherhood is allowed to be playful for you too.
Together, we can create the village – one that empowers both children and mothers. I can’t wait to witness more of the magic that unfolds when a group of women step into their full potential – together. 💛
