The Drive: What challenges have you overcome?
Biggest one was overcoming my own health struggles. I’m still pursuing optimal health, but I have also come so far. One of the reasons I am good at what I do is because I have had similar health struggles as many of my clients and still have challenges with my health too. The journey to true health has no end. We are constantly responding to our world around us. Balance is a constant shift.
Understanding too that is also true for work/life balance. The happy medium is not a constant state but an ever-changing shift from one to the other.

Another is changing my mindset about failure and not being afraid to make mistakes. Finding my own tribe of mentors has definitely helped with this. No matter where you are in life, there is wisdom and support to be gained by those who have blazed the trial before you.
For Better or Worse: What are the pros & cons of running a business?
Pros: The flexibility of work hours and the creative freedom to develop the business that best resonates with you. Being able to live your passion and spread joy to others is incredibly rewarding.
Cons: Working from home and for yourself can often interfere with your personal life. Although there’s flexibility with work hours, often you can be working long hours on admin or a project unpaid. Or taking time away from family if unchecked.
Hopes and Dreams: What Next?
In the not too distant future, I am planning to run some in-person half day “stay-cation” retreats for busy mums to recharge and get a taste of the health coaching experience. Eventually I hope to have these available online for all to enjoy.
Meanwhile, next up is my 6-week online program Supercharged Body Blueprint 6th May- 18th June 2019.
