Yin and Yang: How do you balance work and family?
I’m still working out how to do that. Lol.
The drive: What challenges have you overcome?
In the beginning, I overcame mental challenges of the what ifs: what if it doesn’t work out, what if they don’t like it, etc. Plus, being a new Mum and Dad. It helped to have the encouragement and support from family and friends. We gave it a go and I’m so glad we did.
For better or worse: What are the pros and cons of running your own business?
Pros are being able to pursue a dream and turn that into reality and all the education that comes with that journey. Cons are it can be stressful at times but it’s outweighed by the pros.
Hopes and dreams: What next?
Our dream is to make using our reusable, washable, beautiful nursing pads easily accessible to breastfeeding mums, whether they like to shop in person at a store or online or can’t do either. We have started donating our nursing pads to the local family health clinic so the nurse can give them to mums that need them too. We are going to do more of that and another little project in the pipeline which will be revealed soon so keep an eye out for us! X
