A Unique, Gentle & Holistic Approach to Baby Sleep

The drive: What challenges have you overcome?

It has definitely been a challenge working through the work-life balancing act. The first couple of years were met with a lot of sacrifices and trying to work out the best way to make the balance work. I had a lot of mum guilt when I was working and missing out on time with my family, but as I became more confident with consultations and my follow-up process, I was able to find more balance.

For better or worse: What are the pros and cons of running your own business?

I love the flexibility, the autonomy and creativity I get to put into it. But what I love the most is connecting with mums (and dads) and supporting them on a difficult part of their parenting journey that I found myself in and helping them get through it!

The downside for me is that I have trouble switching off from it. I sometimes lose sleep thinking about clients, new ideas for where I can take the business, and trying to think of new ways to reach new clients and support more families.

Hopes and dreams: What next?

The more families I can support, the happier I will be! It brings me so much joy! This is the number one goal. I am also excited for potential collaborations and to see how I can make the business grow! I am currently in the works developing a series of baby sleep aids to support “on the go” sleep to help with routine flexibility and encourage mums and dads to get out the house with confidence.
