Birthcare: Free Early Pregnancy Clinic

Birthcare

Birthcare is a primary maternity hospital for birthing and postnatal care and provides free support, care and education to mothers, babies and their families.

Birthcare Auckland is offering mums-to-be and their families amazing support in the early stages of pregnancy, with their Free Early Pregnancy Clinic. It is designed to support health and wellness and provide women with the information they need to make informed decisions in their pregnancy, such as where to birth their babies, healthy lifestyle choices and how to find a midwife. A registered midwife runs the sessions and any screening tests, ultrasounds and blood tests can also be arranged.

The clinics are a great opportunity for women to find help and support during that important early stage of pregnancy.

Birthcare services are free to New Zealand residents and women who are eligible for free maternity care.

If you decide to birth at Birthcare, a free private room will be provided for you during your postnatal stay (subject to availability) and you will need to have an LMC (Lead Maternity Carer) and be wanting a normal vaginal birth.
