Breaking Cycles, Creating Change: A Journey of Motherhood, Healing and Growth

Of course, it hasn’t all been smooth. Like many parents and business owners, I’ve navigated uncertainty, self-doubt and exhaustion. There were times when I wondered if it was all too much. But each challenge deepened my resilience and reminded me of my “why”: to break cycles of struggle, to create healthier systems and to show my children and grandchildren that we are not defined by our past but shaped by how we choose to move forward.

Balancing family and work have always been a dance. I’ve learnt that it’s less about perfection and more about presence and connection, being truly with my family when I’m with them, and fully focused when I’m working. Boundaries, self-care and asking for support have been vital. And through it all, I’ve been mindful that little eyes are always watching. Role modelling isn’t about doing everything perfectly, but about showing our children how to navigate life with courage and compassion.

Running my own business has brought both freedom and responsibility. The freedom to shape my work around my values, creativity and family life has been priceless. The weight of responsibility, of course, never fully switches off. Yet the rewards of seeing people grow, watching workplaces become healthier and knowing that the ripple effects touch families and children make it worthwhile every time.

Looking ahead, my vision is to continue expanding group programs, the Learning Hub and creating resources that support healing and growth, and collaborating with others who share the dream of healthier families and communities. My hope is that by doing this work, we not only support individuals today but also lay the groundwork for generations to come.

Because when we heal ourselves, we heal more than just our own lives. We create ripples that reach our children, grandchildren and beyond.
