Creating Sacred Spaces for Women to Connect, Grow & Thrive

The drive: What challenges have you overcome?

The main challenges I’ve faced have been overcoming old internal belief systems that undermine self-confidence. Although I’ve made significant progress in shifting these beliefs, it’s an ongoing commitment for not just myself, but also for my children, my family, and the women I serve. This continuous personal growth is essential to ensuring that I can fully support and inspire others on their journeys.

For better or worse: What are the pros and cons of running your own business?

One of the biggest pros is that I’m doing something I’m passionate about and that feels purposeful. I love the collaborative and creative nature of Evolving Hearts, which allows me to connect deeply with others and make a positive impact.

On the downside, there’s the paperwork, bill paying, and all the other uninspiring administrative tasks that come with running a business. Additionally, working in isolation without peers to bounce ideas off can make it challenging to stay self-motivated. My hope is that one day I can hire someone who enjoys handling these aspects, allowing me to focus on growing my business and continuing to do what I love.

Hopes and dreams: What next?

I envision having a permanent space with a beautiful garden and scenic outlook, perhaps by the beach or nestled among native bush. In this space, I would have a lovely big lotus belle tent for holding sacred circles and other gatherings.

I would love for this space to be multifunctional. Many local women work online and often feel isolated, so I would like to offer hot desks for a collaborative team environment, breakout rooms for coaches and practitioners, and a large area for movement activities like dance. The beautiful lotus tent in a tropical-inspired garden would be perfect for sacred circles.

Additionally, having a wonderful admin superstar to handle the administrative tasks would be fantastic. I also aim to continue my personal and professional growth through facilitator workshops and retreats, add more circle offerings, and collaborate with other female entrepreneurs or experts.

As someone who is new to the area, I’m particularly eager to foster deep, meaningful connections with other women. I long for more than just surface-level conversations about the weather or our kids at the bus stop; I want to build a community where we can support each other and create authentic bonds. Experiencing amazing overseas opportunities wouldn’t go amiss either.

Moreover, I’m committed to making a positive community impact with programs designed to build strong, supportive networks among women. Sustainability will also be a key consideration, ensuring our space and activities are eco-friendly and in harmony with nature.
