When their youngest son suffered terribly with eczema as a baby, Adriana and Rob tried just about everything available to help restore the health of his skin.
As a naturopathic pharmacist and compounding pharmacist now faced with dealing with eczema firsthand, they were unhappy with the offerings of mass-produced products and the need to use continual steroids – they knew there had to be a better way.
So in 2017, using their unique combination of skills, the husband and wife team began developing a range of completely natural, evidence-based and effective formulas to help soothe and heal irritated skin.
“Our first formula, an ointment now called The Original Concentrate, used a high concentration of hemp seed oil in the base, giving it a distinctly green colour,” Adriana said.

“When word got out about family, friends and patients who had used it successfully on irritated skin, people started coming into our pharmacy asking for ‘The Little Green Cream’ that the pharmacist makes – and so The LGC Co. was born.”
Since then, Adriana and Rob have expanded their range to cover not only the needs of sensitive skin prone to eczema, dermatitis, and psoriasis, but also general face and body skin care, suitable to use for the whole family.
“We understand that when it comes to overall health what you put on your skin is just as important as what you put in your mouth, and that how your skin looks can have a huge impact on how you feel,” Adriana said.
Their range of all natural skin care products uses hemp seed oil as a key ingredient, combined with evidence-based herbs and nutrients to repair, restore, and maintain a healthy skin barrier.

Not to mention, the products are free from many known chemical irritants,
and contain no petrochemicals, parabens, palm oil, soaps,

“Rob and I chose to use hemp seed oil for several reasons,” Adriana said.
