The drive: What challenges have you overcome?
The inner voice that constantly tells you that you don’t belong, that you are not enough, is by far the biggest challenge I have encountered on my journey of building a successful business. It’s that persistent, nagging doubt that creeps in at the most unexpected moments, questioning your abilities, your worth, and your place in the world. In those quiet moments, it can be overwhelming, making you feel like an imposter, as though everyone else has it all figured out and you’re just pretending. Yet, as challenging as it is, learning to silence that voice has been crucial. It’s a battle between self-doubt and self-belief, and over time, I’ve learned that embracing the discomfort and continuing to push forward, despite the voice, is what truly leads to growth. The more I trust in my abilities and my purpose, the quieter that voice becomes, reminding me that success isn’t just about skills and knowledge-it’s about resilience and the courage to keep going even when you feel like you’re not enough.
For better or worse: What are the pros and cons of running your own business?
The flexibility of not having anyone to report to is truly freeing. I no longer feel awkward asking for time off when my children are unwell or when I need a break. At the same time, I know that the responsibility to get the work done falls solely on me, and that has been one of my biggest motivators. I stay focused, constantly reminding myself that if I let my clients down, I have no one to blame but myself-and that’s something I never want to do. However, running my own business can also be isolating and lonely at times. Networking and connecting with new people have become essential for both the growth of my business and my mental well-being.

Hopes and dreams: What next?
I believe in enjoying life 24/7, embracing the present moment, and finding joy in both work and leisure, so every hour feels meaningful and fulfilling-not just the time outside of 9-5.
My goal is to be there for my boys as they grow-attending their school drop-offs and pick-ups, concerts, and games, instead of being tied up in the office all day.
In my business, I want to continue offering a personalised approach to estate planning, helping families navigate the complexities of securing their futures, free from corporate policies and regulations. By taking time to understand each family’s unique needs and values, I want to provide tailored advice that ensures their estate plans reflect their goals and protect their loved ones. I believe in offering guidance that goes beyond just the legal aspects, creating lasting peace of mind for families as they plan for the future.
